Secret Service Agents Placed on Leave Over Trump Assassination Attempt

 

There has been an ongoing investigation into the security failures that happened in connection with the Trump assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.  We still don't know the results of that investigation but apparently they don't look good for some members of the Secret Service.  At least five agents connected to the failure have been suspended.

 

CBS News says this is basically the lowest level of discipline that could be used here.  All of these agents are still being paid.  [...]

Secret Service Told Not to Request Additional Security For Trump's Butler Rally:  Whistleblower

 

Secret Service agents detailed to Donald Trump's rally in Butler, PA last month were specifically told by headquarters in Washington not to request any additional security for the outdoor rally where a sniper wounded the former president, and that if they made any request, it would be denied.

 

A whistleblower reported the new information to Missouri Senator Josh Hawley who wrote to acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe, asking him to explain the "apparent contradiction" from Rowe's Senate testimony.  Rowe told the Senate Judiciary Committee last month that no resources were ever denied.

Trump Shooter's Father Hires High-Powered Attorneys

 

Shortly after the July assassination attempt on Donald Trump by Thomas Crooks, many questions were immediately raised, and for good reasons.  To be fair, there are still ongoing questions about the Secret Service's handling of Trump's security during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania and whether this was all just a matter of incompetence, insufficient staffing, or something potentially darker.

 

But as for Crooks himself, after a week or so I slowly became convinced that Crooks was something of an aberration.  He eventually struck me as an isolated, lonely, likely psychotic incel who decided to make a name for himself and go out with a bang.  (Literally.)  But the latest development in the case once again has my inner conspiracy theorist rattling the walls of its cage and screaming that there is still something very wrong about this story.  Crooks' parents have now retained some experienced and likely expensive defense attorneys to act on their behalf.  But why?  [...]

Sorry I didn't read this whole thread. "With whose money" is a great question you will never get answered. This whole saga STINKS. There were at least 3-4 shooters, there is NO WAY this kid hit Trump so accurately (well he would have if GOD hadn't intervened) with a [deleted] AR15 with a red dot while he was just interrupted by a police officer. 

 

Anyone following Dan Bongino on the case?

Good News:  The People Responsible for the Afghanistan Debacle Will Now Help Guard Candidates
