Trump attempted assassination suspect wrote letter outlining his plan to kill former president, prosecutors say

 

The man who authorities say hid in the trees with a rifle on the edge of former President Donald Trump's golf club in Florida previously wrote a letter saying "this was an assassination attempt," federal prosecutors revealed Monday.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was taken into custody and charged with federal gun crimes stemming from the Sept. 15 incident at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.  Routh is expected to appear in federal court on Monday for a pre-trial detention hearing.

According to a new court filing, a witness who came forward after his arrest told federal investigators that Routh had dropped a box off at his home several months ago.  After learning of the apparent assassination attempt, the witness opened the box, which contained "ammunition, a metal pipe, miscellaneous building materials, tools, four phones, and various letters."

In many Third-World countries, falling out of power means being declared an enemy of the people who needs to be done away.  In some situations that means trumped-up charges and made-up evidence—lawfare—to mislabel the fallen leader as evil and justify the life sentence he receives.  In other situations, jail is not secure enough, such as when the fallen leader still has many supporters.  That means he must be killed.

The murder can be a well-planned assassination, an "accident" or true up-against-the-wall execution.  It's all necessary for the greater good, especially if the nation wants to claim higher goals at work—for example, saving itself from a worse fate, like loss of "democracy."  Dictators in power are democracy advocates, and dictators out of power are fascists, infidels, and enemies of the people.

Donald Trump is an enemy of democracy itself, says the left in writing and from the debate stage.  It is then not surprising when people, often mentally ill enough to accept the base argument that someone who served four years as president, who defeated multiple impeachment attempts without resorting to tanks on the Capitol lawn, and who has run via the electoral system for president three times, is not a believer in democracy.  [...]

Secret Service Knew of Trump Shooter 27 Minutes Before Shots Fired

 

A U.S. Senate committee's report on Secret Service failures around the first Trump assassination attempt reveals that the Secret Service found out about Thomas Crooks' suspicious behavior almost half an hour before he shot the president and killed another man.

The injuries of Donald Trump and multiple rally attendees and the death of Corey Comperatore could all have been prevented had the Secret Service taken the report of a "suspicious person with a rangefinder around the AGR building approximately 27 minutes before the shooting" seriously, the bipartisan report demonstrates (read it below).  The incompetence, whether deliberate or accidental, of the Secret Service cost a life and changed American politics.  Now there needs to be major accountability for those responsible for this and other egregious failures at the Pennsylvania rally.

Third Trump Assassination Attempt Thwarted

 

Authorities thwarted a possible third assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on Saturday when local law enforcement apprehended a man in possession of firearms and counterfeit entry passes outside his rally in Coachella Valley, California.  The suspect was detained roughly a mile from the rally site, where police discovered he had a fraudulent entry pass, a loaded shotgun, a handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.
