For my naturalization

Filing online is quick and easy.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If you have $$ - Wildes & Weinberg. Used them last year (also had used them 25 years ago, for my green card). They are thorough + very responsive - but not cheap at all (you have to decide whether you prefer to eat well, or sleep well).

Btw I don't mean to sound like they are perfect - they are not (in fact they twice pissed me off. But overall...).

But what if im married to citizen and have 3 citizen kids.

I do not gives you any built-in advantage over someone without kids.

If you sense you have a difficult case -- or simply like the surety of legal advice (and really, when it comes to USCIS, who could blame you?) -- I would start with the link posted above. I would definitely check the statutory requirements first and familiarize yourself with them, because a lot of them can't be overcome/bypassed, lawyer or no lawyer.

Also, as someone who truly believes in the overall value of legal representation in life, I will state that naturalization is he one step that DYI is quite possible when the case is starightforward.

Hello everyone;

Im looking for an attorney to handle my case i live in newyork and im green card holder 10 years. Please reply to my post with contact number or any reference.

Thank you!!

I recommend Miller & Mayer, based in Ithaca/NY.

https://millermayer.com/legal-services/

They handled my EB-5 petitions (both I-526 and I-829) and the whole process was flawless. I did my own N-400 though.
