Hi

I was a numpty and didn't realise the birth certificate I have is a short form certificate.

The embassy have asked me to send them the long form certificate

I followed the instructions in the email and generated a courier-in receipt

Do I now have to travel to a facility listed on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/niv/information/courier_dropboxes or will they collect it from my home?

You most probably got a 221(g) paper at the end of your interview. This paper should explain exactly what is expected of you, including where to send the requested information.

Reading is what? Fun-da-men-tal!

If the instructions tell you to drop it off at one of the courier services, then that's the best course of action :).
