I feel a bit sorry for the Oranje, a dodgy penalty, anyway:

Although the tackle didn’t affect the shot that Kane got away, it was high, studs-up and made contact, so I think the decision was the correct one.

 

Regardless of the penalty, Simons’ first goal was fantastic, and Watkins’ last minute winner was almost as good.

 

Sunday will be a fascinating contest. Spain will be the overwhelming favourites. But anyone who saw their match against France will know they faded badly in the second half, so this could be a lot tighter than people think, especially with England’s habit of leaving it as late as humanly possible to score.

 

Should be fun.
