Hi,

Sent in the Adjustment of Status packet probably about a month ago--how long does it take to receive some sort of confirmation of receipt from USCIS?

Thanks very much!

VJ stats for AOS is at

Did you use a check or credit card to see if the payment went through?

Hi, thanks! Yeah, I sent in a payment by check, and sent the entire I-485 Packet via FedEx.

It was confirmed that the packet arrived, but I guess I was a little surprised they've yet to deposit the check. But maybe thinking it had been accepted after a month is a little optimistic?

Thanks!

after resending a package after rejection, will they response faster the second time or it will start from scratch, from your experience in the forum

The process is exactly the same as the first time. It will take USCIS some time to locate and open your packet. Faster or slower only depends on how many more packets are waiting to be opened and processed before yours. Until they open the packet USCIS doesn't know your case exists.

It might take shorter or longer time. With USCIS you never know. Patient is the key. I sent mine on the 24th may and never received a text or email since. On the 18th July I saw they taken the money out of my account and sent me a appointment with my receipt number at the same time. So you never know USCIS. One minute it fine the next it not. Good luck.
