Need help! K1 Montreal consulate welcome letter stolen

Hi, i'm in a unique situation, our k1 had been approved in May and sent to Montreal. However, I believe I received the welcome letter/instructions to schedule my interview in the mail and my parents have stolen/hidden it from me.

Could someone please show me/let me know the steps on how to schedule or even just send a pic of their letter? Or is there unique information on the letter that I'd have to use to schedule my interview?

(I do have the NVC case number, the one that starts with MTL.... and the initial WAC.... case number from when we first filed too)

Thanks so much!!

What makes you think you received anything by mail? As far as I know, all communication is done by email now (even if they still call everything a letter)

This thread may help you:

my mom had asked my sister to grab the mail and she said there was something for me and she said my mom had taken it from her and my mom is saying that she took nothing lol.

im worried that it was instructions to schedule my interview which neither myself or my partner received any info on yet. i know when we filed we submitted an electronic notification form with his number and email, but i cant remember if the initial i129f also asked for my email too, so i dont think theres any way they would have my email.

i would suggest submitting an inquiry to the embassy.

they may be able to email it to you. i would say you think it got lost in the mail/accidentally thrown out by a member of your household.

but youre right they more than likely dont have your email address if you fiances email was the one on the e-notification form

heres the thing the montreal consulate is essentially unreachable. i tried every email and they said they cant help and that the emails are either only for americans asking general questions or that they only deal with non immigrant visa questions, and through the phone theres no way to speak to a real person, its just a robot repeating very vague and useless information. will i just have to write them a letter in the mail?

Have you followed the information here?

https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Canada&cty=Montreal

It shows an actually inquiry form for immigrant visas.

Or maybe have your fiance try contacting them. Maybe they can get more information

I've already tried those emails listed there and they were no help, and the link for the public inquiry is broken/doesnt work. I already tried a public inquiry form earlier and they said it is no longer USCISs, id have to reach out to the consulate in montreal, which i cannot reach by phone or email....

These are the two most recent ways I've seen posted to contact Montreal.

It can be very likely they have not sent out package 3 to you and why they're telling you that. But you should get a response from them even if it is the boiler plate of you just have to wait.

Make sure in your email you explain that you are inquiring if they have sent out package 3 as some of your mail was discarded. I know you hit a brick wall with them so far but try again. Many Canadians have used that email so it is possible the wrong person was responding to your email.

Yes it sucks they don't take phone calls but it has been nearly 20 yrs since they have.
