My aunt was to appear for the N-400 for naturalization interview but missed it. She did not followed up with them to reschedule, and her case was  administratively closed. She has not done anything after that.

1. Now  over 2 years later she needs to renew her Green Card to return to see family overseas, will the N-400 being closed affects her Green Card renewal?

2. She wants to try again in a few years to apply another N-400 once exempted from the English portion of the test. Will they deny her for missing the old N-400 interview?

No. But is her GC already expired or about to expire?
