I always wondered what it would take to reform the NHS, even if it is possible.

What a mess the NHS is truly in. A&E seems brutally overwhelmed. That poor woman dying of a blood clot after refusing to return to the hospital😔

 

My brother was meant to come over for a visit. He took a bad fall off his bicycle and a bone in his shoulder was poking out (not through the skin) He was in hospital for most of that day and got “kicked out” as they needed the bed for someone else. They told him he needed an operation on his shoulder within a few weeks. He could not go back again as each time he tried they would brush him off. He never did get it operated on and he’s managed to adapt to his injury and move on, living with it. That was 2023.

Well I never think of politics as a straight line and there are positions taken by some now that would have been considered normal a few decades ago that are considered by the media as extreme now. Look at the Dems.

 

I did read the Guardian article on the German results yesterday, well one of them, now my Grandfather was Working Class, Union, long term Labour member, what was then considered left. So they interviewed someone in Germany who they consider left, well Progressive, not the same thing at all. Nothing much in common.

 

Anyway the last bit was going on about extreme views and how AfD's success is worrying but the good news is that Linke? which they described as an extreme Left party did well. Hello if you are against extreme, their word, parties how does this work out.

Not an obvious article to post but you have to be familiar with the Guardian, years and years of policies they support create a situation and then there seems no self awareness that there are consequences, quite fascinating. Muppets you got what you wanted.
