I applied on July 27, 2024, under the 5-year rule and I'm still waiting for my interview to be scheduled. My wife, who applied on the same date, has already received her citizenship. Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?

This is normal. According to some lawyers, male applications tend to take a little longer as require more checks. Also, even though you filed the same day, not every case is the same and they handled by different people.

Try sending mail to two different receipients on the same day at same USPS office. There's a great chance letters will arrive to recepients on different days. Same princinple here.

The last time I checked with the live agent was 45 days ago. At that time, I was informed that an interview had been requested and I would receive a notification by mail. The wait has been quite long

Online agents tell random information all the time. They need to "help" as many people per hour as they can.

Did you check online to see if there was a notice letter in the document section?

Hi guys!
I received SSN card in mail 5 days after naturalization, does this mean I don't need to update my records with SSA and it was all done automatically between USCIS and SSA?

Expand

You must have checked the box in N-400 to update records with SSA and send replacement SS card.

I've observed that the progress bar has disappeared for me. Previously, this would happen when updates were being conducted in the morning, but this time, it's been gone for over 24 hours. Is this happening to everyone else as well?

Sorry I don't care about MyProgress bar. Whether it's there or not, it doesn't provide any valuable or accurate information to me. I've seen others reporting it's missing. Just another outage...

I applied august 1st in Seattle and I still have not received an interview notice. I submitted a congressional inquiry about a month ago and it came back saying they're still processing my application. It's already outside of normal processing time for Seattle. I'm so frustrated. any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Not much to do but wait at this point.

Processing times say it's for 80% of cases. The other 20% of cases go slower than processing times. Do you have pending I-751?
