I applied august 1st in Seattle and I still have not received an interview notice. I submitted a congressional inquiry about a month ago and it came back saying they're still processing my application. It's already outside of normal processing time for Seattle. I'm so frustrated. any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I applied 7/31 and Emma told me that on 2/5 my FO placed me in queue finally for interview. Meaning the background check took almost 190 days at NBC. My FO is NYC so it probably will take a while to get an interview too.

Good Luck to everyone still in process.

Hi y'all!

Quick question! Do I need to bring any documents to oath ceremony such as birth, marriage etc. I mean outside of what the notice said to bring. My ceremony is Tuesday and I'm flying back to CT tonight so I just want to make sure I bring everything needed with me!

I am not sure if you are flying using 3-year rule or 5-year rule. If it’s 5 then you shouldn’t need any of the docs.

if it’s based on marriage, you should carry those docs to prove in case the officer asks for it.

No need to bring anything beyond what is in the letter. Definitely your green card and N-445.

Are there others who applied in July and are still waiting for an interview? My husband's receipt date is 7/30, 3 yr rule, Milwaukee field office. We technically are not outside of normal processing times yet, but it seems like many who applied later have already gotten interviews.

i am and i think many people are too actually

Hey everyone! Had my oath ceremony this morning. The entire process was about 1.5 hours long including check in. Only document they asked for was green card and any other uscis issued documents as EADs. I am relieved this immigration process is finally over!! Next step is passport! Good luck to all those waiting. The wait may be long but not forever!

I received a notification today about an interview scheduled for March 28th. However, I have already booked plans to be out of the country from March 22nd to April 2nd. Should I consider rescheduling the interview date?

Your call. I tend to think bird in hand when it comes to USCIS, but life happens.

I'd consider to reschedule travel if I was you. Unless you're attending funeral, visiting sick parent, getting $1000000 cash on that trip etc. Good luck!

I second what previous posters suggest. I would honestly reschedule the trip if possible or at the very least push the date and pray you get same day oath.
