Just got back from USCIS. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The whole process was very smooth. It was honestly a blur, so I can't remember what civics questions I was asked, but the officer started with those, before we moved to the reading and writing part of the test. After this, he reviewed my demographic information and asked me to confirm that I would be prepared to take the oath. After a few clicks on his computer he printed my recommendation for approval and told me to expect notification of oath ceremony in about 4 weeks.

I'm so happy and relieved! I'm incredibly grateful to everyone on this forum and this website for helping me through this process. Good luck to everybody who has their interviews coming up soon!

congratulations

... and they say N-400 processing has sped up because of elections ... yeah right ! 🙄

From what I guaged the processing times sped up mostly in swing states, not where the outcome is already determined. Also, from what I see the speedy approvals are reducing in numbers. As the election getting closer, there's not as much incentive to adjudicate N-400 faster because not everybody can go through oath this fast.

Congratulations. Looks like someone from USCIS saw your frustration and called you for interview 🤪. We should all do the same 😊.

You probably should have started complaining earlier since it seemed to get results.🤣😂

My estimated time until case decision is 14 days as of today (started at 23 days and every day it gets closer to 0). Is anyone in the same boat and showing days? My case is still processing and I have not yet received any appointment notice, but the days (instead of month) is odd to me (not complaining though!). Good luck to all!

It's random number so no wonder it doesn't make sense.

Hi everyone,

I have just gotten my interview scheduled for Nov 25, happy to see others getting their interviews scheduled as well, good luck to all of us. Hoped I would have become citizen right on time for the election but I am happy either way, it’s been a long journey for me.

Filing date: Jul 24th
FO: Long Island NY
