I'm asking because I have to wait a couple weeks to get the transcripts and I'd rather not have to wait to file the N-400 Online if I can file without the need of the transcripts right now.

You could get the online tax return transcript pdf's instantly. I imagine USCIS prefers those anyway for online submissions since the pdf's strait from the IRS have basic security that would make any tampering evident.

Agree - I filed under 3 year route which requires tax returns and I just downloaded them all from IRS and uploaded to application. After we filed 2023 taxes I added the 2023 IRS downloads as unsolicited evidence.

At interview I was not asked for any further documentation about taxes.

That's the point. When you provide them in submission, it typically doesn't get asked. But it does get asked (not always) at the interview if you never submitted returns in application.

Hi all, has anyone seen any recent San Antonio N-400 processing timeline ?

I only see four self reported timelines here with accurate dates, and it seems that Filed to Interview is approx 110 days. Seems excessive by looking at June and July threads...

110 days is blazing fast processing time at USCIS. Just under 4 months...

I did download them but those online copies are the masked version and when we did our previous filings that asked for tax transcripts, I used unmasked versions.

Wasn't sure if that would raise an eyebrow on their end.

What do you mean by masked versions? Not showing full name?

That's OK, this is official transcript from US government agency. USCIS officers see them all the time.

Yes, masked just means it redacts/hides sensitive identity-related info. I've sent in unmasked versions before because they already have access to just about everything related to our identity so I figure why send a masked version LOL

Thank you all for the feedback on this one!

I just checked and there are no updates so far. Based on what others from the Denver office reported here, I expect to hear from USCIS by the end of October or November.

I have noticed that prior to previous elections they seem to have a push to get as many people naturalised as possible.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
