Supreme Cout Rules on Trump Immunity Case

Looks like Presidents are entitled to absolute immunity for all official acts....and presumptive immunity for other acts.  Some aspects being sent back to lower court. Chief Justice Roberts wrote the opinion.

"In a historic 6-3 ruling, the justices said for the first time that former presidents have absolute immunity from prosecution for their official acts and no immunity for unofficial acts. Seems the decision also says evidence from official acts cannot be used in any trial.  This might blow up some the cases against Trump....even the NY case.

This makes perfect sense. 

Crazy that the SCOTUS has to make it clear. But it would keep people from filing charges against a President for "murder" after declaring war on a country or simply taking out an enemy.

Which makes it baffling how the three leftist justices dissented.  Do they want Biden being prosecuted for vaporizing an innocent family in Afghanistan, or of the murders of the USCs by criminal immigrants he has let in the country.  Obama could be prosecuted for droning a USC during his time in office, and of course W and Billy Boy could have to answer for some of their official acts.

 

All this does relative to the Trump federal prosecution by the political hack Jack Smith, is to go back and decide which charges were actually official acts, and which were not, and then needing to argue their logic in lower courts.

 

It is interesting though watching the leftist/Democrat and MSM having a petulant meltdown.

The Democrats are so myopic that they cannot see the forest.  I can excuse Old Corrupt Petulant Joe due to his addled mind (I cannot believe he will remain President for six more months).  This ruling was not limited to just Trump and the politicized prosecutions he is facing.  All the petulant caterwauling by the left/Democrats must mean the Dems/left want Obama and Biden prosecuted for their actions as well.

TDS is real.  They would sell their souls to get Trump in an orange jumpsuit.  It's just sickening that they cannot see that a POTUS MUST be shielded for official acts.  These critics, seemingly, didn't read the court's decision.  Chief Justice Roberts said "The President is not above the law".  It has always been assumed that a POTUS is shielded from official acts.  Legislators have immunity.  Judicial branch has immunity.  But, because this assumed immunity, now solidified in this decision, applies to Trump, the leftists are going crazy.  These people are truly sick, imo.    I have news for them all.  They better buckle up!  The red wave was delayed.....but there is a red hue on the  horizon.
