Is there a place that my fiance can download the forms necessary for her interview BEFORE she recieves the packet in the mail from the embassy? (I'm not sure what forms SHE is required to fill out on her end) How old can the police background check be? Her country is Colombia - and from what she is told, it takes a while to get the police check. We are hoping for an interview in December (if we are lucky) and want to be prepared. Can someone lead me in the right direction or let me know what forms she is going to need. (I already know which ones I need).

Thanks

Bundy

K-1 tends to need DS-230 part 1 and the consulate specific DS-2001 or OF-169 returned.

The DS-230 is easy to locate on the state department site, as well as DS-156, DS-156K, and DS-157

Police certificates, can be valid anywhere from 3 months to a year. It varies by country. If its valid for 6 months or more, getting it now should be ok.

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...&cty=Bogota Look here as to what forms are in packet 3.
