It just means your case has been digitalised- USCIS is gradually doing this with all of them. It doesn’t affect anything at all.

The Visa Bulletin tells you the Priority Date for those who are now able to get their visa. It’s 22nd July 2007 for your category, so those who applied approx 6 years earlier than you are now eligible for visas.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2024/visa-bulletin-for-june-2024.html

So you can keep an eye on the VB each month to see when it’s getting close to your Priority Date. Just remember that it’s not linear, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t move much - for example if you look at the VB from a year ago the date was April 2007, so it’s only moved 3 months in a year.

Good luck.

Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re asking. I see the case history but what’s your question about it?

As above, it doesn’t mean anything - just that your case has been digitalised, so no need for any receipt to be sent.

If anything I'd be concerned about the case note from January 6 2015 saying that a document was returned to USCIS - has your brother (petitioner) moved without updating his address with USCIS? I'm guessing the document referred to was just the formal receipt notice or even a notification that the petition was approved, but that does not seem to be the case from what you've shown. Note that even if the petition was approved long ago it is still the visa bulletin that shows when the actual visa will be available.

In any case it is always important to make sure USCIS has correct contact info for the petitioner, otherwise if there's an RFE or similar it might get missed.

Yeah, he changed the address and was not aware if he needs to change the address plus he went to the uscis on the same day, the last date of that, but somehow he saved the case from being destroyed by them. Thankyou for the information!

Yeah, its 14+ years for this so sitting on that!

Yes, and unfortunately, it's not moving a month every month or anywhere near that, so you can't just look at the date now, deduct it from the present year and say, I waited x years so far, so that's how many is left......

@Wajeeha Zafar please share the link to check the case history and case status which you are displaying the bottom part of the pic. I only have the link to see the case status.. but yours even show the dates of case filing.

It's just on the online USCIS account - https://my.uscis.gov

TBH, I never found the MyUSCIS thing useful, I think I logged in once but there's nothing on it that you can't find elsewhere. Your date of filing will be on your receipt notice.
