Spouse allowed N-400 interview?

Just wondering if I will be allowed in the interview with my wife? 3yr rule married to USC (15yrs now).

 

I wasn't allowed in her B-2 interviews but I was in her I-485 interview.  Seems like some reports here on the N-400 interviews are 2nd hand so I wonder if the spouse is allowed or not?

For the N-400 alone - in most cases the spouse is not allowed to attend, no. My husband wasn't even allowed in the waiting room, they sent him down to the first floor lobby.

No I-751. We'd been married 12 years when she got her 10 year GC.

When my wife had her N400 interview with an I751 pending, I was brought back for a very brief I751 interview, then I was sent back to the waiting area while my wife and the IO proceeded with her N400 interview.  I have heard stories of spouses being in the room during the N400, but those were usually also a combo I751/N400 situation.  In your case, I would not expect they would allow you to accompany your wife, but I would certainly go with her if nothing more for support.

For sure you have to go together, even if there is no I-751!
I just lost my N-400 application because my wife didn't go with me.
They did both interviews at the same time and we did not receive notification for ROC, where she should be present.

A combo (i-751 and N-400) interview is a completely different matter. If you have a pending i-751 the spouse should absolutely ALWAYS be there, doesn't matter that you only receive an interview letter for the N-400 and not the I-751.

What do you mean by lost? Did you get denied?
