What are some advice for purchasing a ticket for my fiancee and me to fly to U.S.

Is it okay for me to book a one way ticket from Manila to the U.S. without a VPN for my fiancee and me? I plan to purchase the flight from Japan airlines.

if you fiance has an approved K-1 visa you can definitely just get a one way ticket for them.

K1 visa travelers from the Philippines will need a CFO sticker.

Getting CFO scheduled and approved can be more of a hassle than booking a one-way ticket.

Since some airline systems may not have an input for entry documents, you can call Japan Airlines after booking to ask them to add a note with your reservation for the gate agent that you have a K1 visa and one-way ticket.

I purchased 1 way on Phil Air for my wife and son. There were other less expensive flights but with more stops. Since he was small, I thought the fastest route possible was the best option.

We had no issues, they both had the required paperwork to leave the country and enter the US.

What is your specific concern about buying the ticket?  You have no timeline so we can't see what stage of the process you are in.

If it's time to travel to the US and your documents are in order, what are you worried about?

 

A VPN is used to obfuscate or alter your apparent online location for internet services which are restricted or priced geographically.

For example, one can use a VPN to access "Netflix Columbia" and pay a cheaper rate than one would from their actual location in America.

Airlines do not charge different prices based on where one lives.  Why would you do this to purchase a plane ticket?
