F4 case status refused after interview

Be patient.

It takes some time from when the officer says "approved" to the "approved" showing up in the system.  Among other things, there's the potential for Administrative Processing which might be fast or might take forever...no one knows.

"Refused" does not mean "rejected".  It's a holding marker to indicate that they can't issue it at this time.  It will update when they decide what to do next.

DO NOT make plans.  Do not buy non-refundable plane tickets.  Do not close up the house or apartment.  Wait until you have the visa in hand.

Regards,

Vicky's Mom

Actually yesterday was my interview F4 after the interview i checked case status it was administration process and today I again checked its refused thats why i was having concern about it 😞

The online case status can alternate between Administrative Processing and Refused, but as long as it does not say Denied/Rejected you are still fine.  As far as I have been able to deduce, Administrative Processing means someone is actively doing something with your case, but the visa has still not been officially Issued, and Refused means the case is still sitting in limbo awaiting all the rest of the work.  Hopefully you will see the message "Issued" soon as it sounds like your interview went well.

Good Luck!

You wait until the status changes to "Issued".  All cases go through some form of Administrative Processing prior to issue.

Okay okay but I'm just concerned that my medicals will be expired in 2 months n probably we have to do this process again

Worst case scenario is that you would have to get a new medical.  Hopefully, your visa will be issued soon.

Okay almost been 2 months and casee status is still showing refused without any update or contact from us embassy..my medicals are expiring soon what i do noww

Nothing you can do but wait I’m afraid. AP can take months or even longer, you’ll be asked to have a new medical done at some point. Please fill in your timeline so that we know your info, which consulate did you interview at?

Ah, ok. AP would be expected at Islamabad, particularly if you're male, it's just background checks. It can take months or even years, nothing to do but wait it out.

Good luck.

I agree quite normal

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
