I130 approved? Document in tab but says being reviewed

Hello VJ members.  We're facing a strange situation so thought I'd ask if anyone faced something similar or knows the answer. Timeline is below.

 

Rfe requested: 18 June 2024

Rfe replied online: 23 June 2024

Status changed to Recieved evidence: 23 June 2024

Status changed to actively reviewing again: 24 June 2024

 

Here's the confusion. In our documents tab there is a pdf called i130 approval that says the i130 was approved on 24 June 2024.

However there has been no email yet and the case status still says "USCIS is actively reviewing your case"

 

What does this mean? Are we approved and there's an administrative time lag? Or something else? Appreciate any advice you have.

The PDF online is same as what you will receive in mail but with the official logo/paper.  Read it, if it is approved, it is approved.  Probably, once they completed the mailing, your status will change, something like forwarded to State (NVC).  Congrats!

We are actively reviewing your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time. (Nov 9)
Your case for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative was approved. (Nov 10)

Case Was Sent To The Department of State (Nov 13).

Yes we got our I-130 approval in the online portal before getting it in the mail a couple of days after. Sounds like you are approved.

Thank you so much for your replies. It did indeed tick over a day later and we got the email on 25th June. For future reference, there seems to be a lag with USCIS taking an action and the online page updating but it's nothing to worry about.

Same happened to me. Read the pdf approval document and move to the next phase. You will get an email from NVC soon with instructions. Congrats!
