Hello, so my fiancee and I just received her case number from the NVC ans they are forwarding our case to the embassy in her country. My question is for the I-134 affidavit of support I should meet 125% of federal poverty guidelines. I live with my mom and dad still and obviously they provide for themselves.  So when calculating how much i should make a year to meet 125% of the federal poverty guideline do I consider the household size to be 1 or 3? Does my parents count since they provide for themselves or is it only my fiancee and I?

Household size is described page 6 #14 for income

Provide all of the information requested in the table below about yourself, all of your dependents, and any other individuals you financially support

so if just u and fiancee  its 2 unless either of u have children

and its 100% for K1

125% comes in for AOS on the I 864

My fiance is preparing for her interview and they told her to bring all original documents but does that include the originals from me like my tax returns or can they accept photo copies? I don't want to have to send all this stuff by mail to my fiance

I Sent my wife my tax transcripts but during the interview, they never asked for it.. each embassy is different. i would send your tax transcripts..

While your assertion of 100% for K1 is technically correct, in practice it is not. Consular Officers know the I-864 comes next, so they don't typically issue visas unless the sponsor qualifies comfortably OVER the 125%.  This is one of the situations where instructions don't match real life.
