I'm a US citizen who filed an I-130 petition electronically for a CR1/IR1 visa for my Filipina spouse a couple of days ago. This morning I noticed a new tab titled myProgress appear on the USCIS My Account page:

Not much to say about that estimate other than 😢. USCIS is completely broken.

Everyone on VJ has had to wait long periods for nearly every step of the process.

Estimations on website are just estimations. They're largely inaccurate. You can roll a dice and get a better prediction.

So very true. mine went from 6 months, to two weeks, to 3 days to four months. Three months later approved I130

Hah, I just experienced that for myself this morning. Now it's 18 months!

I would love to see the database query they're using to calculate this number.

It's like trying to give you weather forecast prediction for tomorrow based on average temperature on the planet...

The methodology used for this number is simply wrong and doesn't account for human factor (e.g. officer Joe put the file in the bottom drawer while trying to clear the desk for I-485 interview and forgot about it for few months).
