Hey Guys .. i am a k3 Applicant as my profile shows ... anyway ... i had my interview on Nov 21 2006 ... and since that date , i have been put on Administrative Processing ..

since that date the embassy contacted me few times by sending request letters to send them some papers like " Movement certificate ... Proof of relationship ... etc "...

and here is the Funniest part ... on May 8th ,, my wife called the Embassy and a stupid lady at the embassy here in Cairo told her that my visa already got approved and that it is just pending the consular signature looooooooool .... she said that the visa is at the consular office and he just needs to sign it and then they will issue it and send it via DHL/TNT .. whatever ... and that she will send him an email to make him speed it up looooooooool .. that is really FUNNY .. another JOKE .... huh .. Funny and SAD .. i do miss my wife so much .and i can not take it like that Anymore .. we have been away from eachother for so long and this makes me soooo depressed ...i have not touched my wife for the last 16 months 11 days .. this is soooooooooooooo stupid ...I GOT TIRED of those cold showers

anyway .. today is the day Number 257 since i had my interview at the American Embassy in cairo .... WHY THE DELAY ????????? is this because of the Age Difference ... i think it is not a Crime to get married to someone who is older than you .. actually what the embassy do is just SUCKS ....

Good luck for all of you specially those who are getting thru the American Embassy in Cairo " the HEAVEN " huh ....

Hey guys .. One more thing i wanna add .... my step-son birthday is coming soooo soon " Augest 13th " and when i asked him " one month ago " what do you want me to send for your Birthday ... there is his answer "" i want you to be here for my birthday .. this is what i want " .... Do you think People at the embassy ever think this way or even care about something like that ..... do they really know something that is called FEELINGS ????????? ..

I know the separation is difficult but be blessed that you have gotten that far. There are many others we have been stuck ain AP t the first stage of this whole damn process. At least you have had the interview and hope and pray that the so called signature gets done.

I agree. And some of these ppl (like yourself, dip sticks) rarely, if ever complain about the situation.

I couldn't agree with you more! I don't think I'd be able to count the days in the process - then I'd get either too depressed or start looking to pick a fight with them, and I can't afford any of that! One time I got a banner at the store that says "WELCOME HOME" and I got so incredibly depressed and upset. I had to hide it in the closet for the better times. Hope my husband come at least this year, inshallah!

Good luck and I wanted to add that you can complain here, there's some nice people and everybody's going thru this. Not that you'll get your visa sooner if you complain here, but it makes our lives a little easier, this board!

like i have said befor they dont care at the embacy because after there 8 hours of work they go home to there SO. It has been 574 days sence i seen my hubby. And im to the point i just cant deal or take it any more. And Im sure because of our age differnce is the reason. I just dont know how much more proof they want. But Iam making planes to go back in Nov and Dec so we are togeather for our 2nd anniversary.
