Hello,

I'm trying to schedule an appointment for an interview for a K1 visa in Frankfurt. I sent the confirmation and the DS-160. After that, I received an automatic email stating that I must use visa navigator. If I don't use it, they will not answer my email.

I used the navigator, but after that, it says I have to send a new email with a new subject 77.

I'm a bit confused. Should I send the new email or should I wait? It's been a week since I sent the email.

Thank you.

have you received packet 3 yet?

the letter in packet 3 tells you exactly what email and what subject line to use when sending them your DS-160 confirmation

that is strange...

the letter definitely doesn't say anything about the visa navigator.

as long as you used the email in the letter and the subject line they tell you to use, it should have gone through fine.

it should be I77 (capital "i" im pretty sure)

but then yea you can send another email

In the letter for subject line of the email says to enter 122- and then the case number.

However after I sent the email, I received an automatic email about using the visa navigator. If I don't use it, they won't answer my email. After using the visa navigator, the website indicates that I should send the email with a different subject.

so I don't know what should I do right now.

oh im sorry, its been awhile since i looked at my fiances letter.

I did however just look at it, and its capital "i"22. (so it should look like I22) not 122

I wish they picked a different font for this letter cause its ridiculous how close the I and 1 look to each other lol (unless they messed up and made a typo lol)

if you send another email with the I22, you should be fine

Thank you for your help. I sent another email yesterday and received the same automated response advising me to use the navigator I haven't send any email with a new subject yet, was hoping someone can help me out

I am hopeful to receive a response tomorrow.

yea it probably recognizes that the subject line doesnt match up with all of their premade ones, so it just auto sends something.

i doubt anyone even looks at those lol

pretty sure my fiance heard back very quickly once he emailed his DS-160, it might have even been next day i think? i could be wrong though

as long as the subject line is right, someone will definitely see and you'll hear back soon, dont stress too much. Scheduling an interview at the Frankfurt embassy is pretty easy and they (usually) have a ton of openings for interviews.

If it helps, i indeed also got an automated response with the message if something wasn't send according certain guidelines, my mail would not be responded to.

My guess is everyone will get that one no matter what, but it is an indication they have received your mail!

I got a response 2 days later, with the go ahead for making an appointment. (Sent May 14, response May 16)

I hope you get yours soon!
