Just wait Dev. Clinton is so hated by half of the country that her chances of winning are nil. Enjoy your 1% lead in the average. It will not last very long once the campaign adds start. The country needs to be reminded of the stupid things she stands for. Most of America does not want to go socialist.

At least Dems HAVE a strong candidate (or 3) you guys are still trying to find one!

Hehe, enjoy Dev. You will be singing a sad song come next November.

Gary - Apparently your leading Rep. candidate approves of illegal aliens.

Some of the hardest-working and most productive people in this city are undocumented aliens," Giuliani said at the time. "If you come here and you work hard and you happen to be in an undocumented status, you're one of the people who we want in this city. You're somebody that we want to protect, and we want you to get out from under what is often a life of being like a fugitive, which is really unfair."

And your friend Newt says the Clinton/Obama '08 ticket has a very high chance of winning.

"I think it's going to be a Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama ticket," said Giuliani in an interview with the Daily Telegraph Monday in Stanhope, Iowa.

At a separate event on Monday, Gingrich, who is mulling an '08 bid of his own, predicted the Democratic front-runners will win the election.

"The odds are fairly significant that the left will win next year," Gingrich said to a group of business leaders. "My personal bet is that it'll be a Clinton-Obama ticket. I think they have a very high likelihood of winning."

Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, an ABC News consultant, said, "While the Republicans find it interesting to hook up the top two candidates, first they have to secure the nomination then they have to look around to see how they are going get to 270. It is much too early to be talking about this." Brazile added, "I'm not surprised they are spending their daylight hours focusing on the strength of both Clinton and Obama."

Yeah, yeah. Look at it this way. The reps have been beaten down. They are at their lowest point in a very long time. And even at that Clinton can only claim a 1% lead. It does not bode very well for her. All it would take is continuing good news out of Iraq or heaven forbid another attack on America to turn Clinton from a contender to a has been. I will look into my magic ball and say Thompson/Guiliani will be the rep side and Clinton/Oboma will be the dems. I don't think there is much the dems can do to beat that combo with half of America saying there is no way they will vote for Clinton. You can't change that fact, you can't spin it. Half of America will never vote for Clinton. I will say that again. Half of America will never vote for Clinton. She cannot win with that kind of negative numbers.

Says GaryC?!? So.....? That crystal ball trick is getting really old.

4,072 soldiers' families likely won't vote Republican.

Or maybe the 61.6% of Americans who disapprove of the job the current Republican Prez is doing....

Maybe, Rush said it..so it must be true

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I can see you don't read what I post. Typical. Ok, here it is again.

But, when the question is asked of all voters, the former First Lady is viewed favorably by just 49% and unfavorably by 48%. That latter figure includes 34% with a Very Unfavorable opinion (nearly half of all voters say they will definitely vote against Clinton if she is on the ballot in 2008).

It's a national Rasmussen poll. I can show you polls from a bunch of places that say the same thing. Open your eyes Dev, your girl is a poison pill where the American people are concerned. And as far as the soldiers families that lost loved ones go I think you will be very surprised there also. They tend to be very patriotic and are more likely to vote rep. And the polls show us that the 61% that don't like Bush have the intelligence not to transpose that dislike to someone else that isn't Bush. Only dems do that.

Don't patronize me with your blind faith.

Your friend Newt agreed the left will win, thought you liked him? Believed him? Guess not anymore. How blindly you follow anything the right feeds you.

So now you are admitting Republicans are dumb?

Yeah but Gary - even if 50% would never vote for her, that leaves another 50%. And you can win the presidency on the narrowist of margin and without the popular vote. It also doesn't mean that the 50% who won't vote for her will vote for the Republican. If Guiliani is the candidate, I think a lot of reliable Republican voters will be looking for another horse to back in the race.

Ideally, I didn't want Hillary to be the nominee because there are so many that hate her, but the presidential race is not a popularity contest. Most voters are not ideologues, Gary, and right now, regardless of whether you like her or hate her personally, Hillary is looking the most presidential of all the candidates, both Republican and Democrat. Both her and Giuliani show great leadership skills. If Giuliani should win, I won't be terribly disappointed.

Do you think before you post? Reread what you just said on both of those comments and try to think about it.

My blind faith? It's a Rassmussen poll. Faith has nothing to do with it. It's a fact. 50% of Americans will not vote for Clinton. You can stay in denial if you wish.

And now you think it's republicans that are dumb because they don't move their dislike for Bush to someone else? That doesn't say much for dems. You need to think a little girl.
