Wife is a US citizen. Her family moved to America under United for Ukraine. She wants to sponsor them for green cards.

Also would the fact that they came as refugees under United for Ukraine and accepted food stamps through the local refugee program make them inadmissible? Just trying to see if applying for them even makes sense since its quite expensive.

Who are "her family"? Parents?  Siblings?

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

ha well I forgot the most important piece of information. They are her parents.  Mother and Father. Both birth parents.

Concurrent I-130 and I-485 packages for each one. 

 

Note:  Siblings would have been much more complicated.

We also encourage everyone, including noncitizens, to seek necessary medical care, including treatment or preventive services for COVID-19. You may seek pandemic-related benefits and services (including food assistance, housing programs, and others) for which you are eligible—without fear of negative consequences to your immigration status.
