USPS says delivered, but then admits that it was potentially lost. When would you send another AOS package?

USPS tracking says delivered, but then admitted that it was potentially lost. When would you send another AOS package? It's been a month. If we were to send another package, is there anyway to get USCIS to disregard the previous one, or would having two AOS packages arrive complicate things greatly? I'm also worried about being double charged. Thank you

I would also wait a few more weeks.  If USPS said it was delivered, it is probably in a stack waiting to be entered into the USCIS system.

It can take 4-6-8 weeks to get a letter from USCIS with case number.

What does USOS status say?

How do you know the packet was lost?

USPS said delivered but when I called them they said that they potentially marked it as delivered without scanning it. USCIS has not taken my money nor have they emailed or texted me (I signed up for G-1145)

I think that is unlikely.  I believe scanning is what actually marks it as "delivered".

You would have 2 packages floating around in the system...and potentially 2 sets of fees paid.

Yeah I'm wondering if I waited 3 more weeks and wanted to send another if I could get them to cancel the first one or maybe if I just told my bank not to accept the charge, if that would stop it? I'm really worried that it is lost and that it could end up arriving months later. No idea what to do.

Right now it's taking 1.5 to 2 months to even get receipts/ checks cashed due to April 01.

Reddit has a lot of these statistics.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

The question is when do I panic

Don't ever panic 😊

If after 8 weeks of delivery you don't hear anything, you can try sending another packet. Maybe send it with UPS / FedEx if you want to have proof of delivery. But 99% you'll get your receipt, it just takes forever for anything USCIS related nowadays. The only exception is N-400.

You may contact the lockbox by email once it has been 30 days since the packet was received not sent.

Google Contact USCIS and scroll to by filing location for the procedure.

Not sure how you mailed the package, but Priority Mail Express allows you to request proof of delivery from the tracking page, which shows who signed for it.

Regardless, I agree with others who have said to give it time and not send anything else yet.
