Hi All,

My husband's interview is coming up, and I'm wondering if we need a police certificate from the US, as he lived here before for over 6 months.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't need one, but just wanted to double check.

5/21/07- NVC generates DS-230, mailed out DS-230

6/01/07- NVC completes case!

8/30/07-- Interview date! Approved

I-129F transfered to CSC

5/14/07- NVC confirms receiving K-3 Application

I don't think so - as far as I remember, you do not need them for the US, but better call MTL and make sure.

Nope. The checklist states that you don't need one from the U.S. (at least the Vancouver checklist states that).

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

It should say on your checklist under police certificates. Here is the K1 checklist for Montreal (states that you don't need one for U.S. addresses)
