I think this is a lot of VJers worst nightmare. To be apart and have an illness/accident occur. I'm always worried about this situation (my fiance tells me I'm crazy for it). I truly hope that he has a good recovery and doesn't have a reoccurence of his heart troubles. This process is really stressful, but as long as you stay strong and stay there for eachother- it will pay off in the end.

I hope everything goes well for you two.

My dear Lola,

I am so sorry to hear about Alvin's health issues. The immigration process has that as a nasty sidekick (you should see our nervous breakdown mode). I will keep you both in our prayers. And you are a stress reliever my friend, you are Alvin's rock and his hope for a good and loving life together. Can't tell you enough - you are lucky to have each other.

As for his friend's comments , I suppose he feels entitled to protect Alvin (from what the FFF I don't know, but not from you). thank him for his concerns but also kindly tell him to mind his own biz. I know he is trying to be a friend to you both, but calling you a stress cause is b!tchy - you are not the cause of stress, it's the process.

My hear goes out to you both.

Peace, L.

Thank you for all replies...

Right now all what I concern about is my Alvin's health...

He been in the military for 17 years and this year wasn't easy at all for both of us...

He needs rest,he needs slow down,he needs me next to him...

It touched me a little when his friend said that I am sress causer, but I also understand that it could be truth...

I realize that I haven't been pationed sometimes,we were argue about cheapers...

I am a woman and I have to be more wise, more calm...

Sometimes I have to calm my man down, comfort him in any possible ways...

Whatever his friend says, all what I want is my Al be okay...

Thats enough...

You are NOT the cause of the stress.

It is only natural for the both of you to want to be together and the immigration process is what it causing the stress.

The only thing you can do to help Alvin is to love him and assure him that you are OK. Both of you will make it through this process and come out on the other side with a greater understanding and appreciation for one another.

Be strong, for yourself and Alvin. Others have survived through this as will you.

Both of you are in our thoughts and prayers :)
