I don't disagree, however potential future tariffs are on the election platforms of both main candidates for President.  Voters need to be informed of the pros and cons of the positions the candidates are taking.

This is a very unique election in that the two leading candidates both have actual presidential records to go on.  I may be wrong, but I think you have to go back to the election of 1892 when the leading candidates, Cleveland, and Harrison both had presidential records.

 

In the end you have to look at what period was better, 2017-2021, or 2021 to today.  It seems pretty clear to me despite the gaslighting by the Democrats and the media allies.

The tanking of the Auto industry and the amount of negative equity is quite interesting. I have never financed a car, always thought of them as a depreciating asset.

Every election is unique. I look at what year was better for ME and my family not anyone else. If I am not improving my quality of life then the problem is me not then. I don’t pay attention to the outside noise.

Paid cash for my car. Got a really awesome deal. It was before the pandemic too. Yes, they are a depreciating asset so you dont want to spend as much.

Sure, but again, this is the first time since 1892 where we have two candidates with Oval Office experience.  Usually we either get two candidates (ignoring minor party candidates), where there is only one with Oval Office experience (2020, or 2012), or two like 2016 or 2008.  So it is either voting for what we know, or voting for what we hope for.

Very good historical point that merits being brought up.

 

There may be less material available on another example:  in 1912, former Pres. Theodore Roosevelt entered the presidential race very late, on the "Bull Moose" ticket, against Pres. William Howard Taft.  Roosevelt's entrance split the Republican vote and put the evil Woodrow Wilson in the White House -- one of the biggest disasters in U.S. history.  There are bad presidents and evil ones, and I call Wilson out as even more evil than Obama.
