hello,

i have few  questions regarding my citizenship application, me and my daughter is eligible for citizenship now, but as my daughter turn 18  this year, so my question is is she need separate application of citizenship? or i can apply with my application.

my second question is about my application location as i am moving out of my state this month due to job of my husband but my daughter will take admission in my current residence  state, so what i will do do i need to wait for my application or my daughter will apply separately as per residence of her college.

thank you

+Separate applications for both of you.

+Daughter can apply now as she's staying put in current state

+For you, you'll have to wait until you've established residency in your new state for at least 3 months before you can apply.

Good luck.

Good luck.

 I assume that the daughter would have to wait the 5 years instead of the 3 that the spouse would? There wasn’t any dates mentioned so I’m unsure if she has been a resident long enough yet.

@samra77 has to provide specifics.

True, 5 years wait for daughter if residency is/was originally conditional.

However, in the case of being a biological daughter of the USC father, and was in his legal custody before turning 18, daughter would already have been USC.
