I can't make heads or tails or Visa Bulletin with U.S. Government or Visa Processing times page at this site: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/visa-bulletin-predictions-family-sponsored.php

My brother in law is FB4. At Visa Journey their Jan 2022 column reads 2007-03-22. Does that mean in January of 2022 these visas being processed were from 2007 year applications?

Thank you. That's painful to learn. My brother in law will be a senior citizen before he gets a visa opportunity.

We filed his paperwork in 2020.

Just the way it is - have him live his life as normal. i filed for my younger sister in 2010, needless to say she's still waiting.

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010

He probably has another 20 years to go.

Yes, well many countries don’t even have pathways for siblings to immigrate…

As said above yes, but for the current Visa Bulletin you need to look here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html

As you can see, in this month’s the date for F4 is July 2007, so it’s only moved 4 months in 2.5 years. If you applied for him in 2020 then it’s going to be at least 2040 before there’s a visa available to him, but keep an eye on the VB every so often.
