Today is August 8, making it 2 years of our ban served and one year to go. So many of you were around and remember when all that happened. Can you believe it's been 2 years? Around this time next year, we may very well be getting a visa.

What is the ban for??

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

The ban is not really a ban per se but more of a required period of remission. Our 10 year ban for illegal presence is still in force until 2013 but we can do the waivers for that one.

Ban was for drug addiction. Long story, but my husband isn't a drug user.

so hes still on a 10 year ban from entering the US? and with the reasons for the ban do you think a waiver will allow the ban to fall?

im just worried about you and javi being disappointed if he isnt able to enter the US within the next 8 years.

Illegal entrance and the deportation are waiverable. Of course there's no guarantee that they'll approve them but we tend to think our hardships are sufficient. After the 3 year remission period the drug issue no longer counts for anything.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

You of course have the right to say whatever you want-we've heard it all before. Most here know the truth, the circumstances surrounding it, the efforts we have gone to in order to fix a mistake that wasn't ours, etc. Everything's not always black and white and unfortunately, the people we rely on to manage our lives and futures aren't always right, or good.

Miss_Liss thankfully you know not to pay attention to people who don't get it and don't know the whole story. You're more than half way there and when it comes time for your waiver submission, you'll fly through it with the pilot program. Hang in there and stay strong! :luv:
