Hi,

My husband has an ACRO which states 'no live trace', on the Esta form where it says about convictions, do I say yes or no? As it says no live trace I confused which one to answer! Also if I answer yes will I then need to upload the ACRO?

Thanks for your help,

Kathryn

Well, answering factually is important. If he has a conviction, then answer "Yes".....

ASK HIM if he was convicted of anything.  Don't play games and say, well, the ACRO didn't say anything, so it doesn't matter...

And upload the document either way.  You want to prove you went and got it.

Try not to be cagey on this document.  If he did something and he was convicted, spell it out.  Dodging something here is potentially going to cost your time, money, and even your marriage in the years to come.

‘No Live Trace’ just means he has an old conviction. If his record was clear it would say ‘No Trace’.
