Filling form I-751 for my husband - am I considered a "preparer"?

We are going to be sending the packet out in the next day or two, but I am obsessing over the application, because I want to make sure everything has been filled out correctly. An additional question has come up that I hope someone can clarify for me. I am filling out form I-751 for  my husband...we are sitting together and answering the questions, but I am the one writing them down, simply because my handwriting is more legible than his is lol. He can understand and speak English fluently, so that is not an issue at all. But parts 7 and 10 both ask if the petitioner has requested the services of someone other than an attorney. There is also a section where it asks for the name of the preparer, if other than the petititoner. Am I considered a preparer? I read somewhere that if you are filing jointly with your spouse, you can disregard that section. But I just want to double check that we have filled this section out correctly. Thank you all for your help!

So what did you put down for Section 1 a/b if you were helping your spouse fill out the form? I'm in the same position where we filled out the form together but i filled the form out (my wife is the petitioner).

I think I left the "Preparer" box blank since this was a joint petition. Both spouses are expected to participate in preparation, imo.
