My personal opinion is that she could try K1 route.  But the reason I am here is because I wanted to get more opinions, espeically from people that do not personally know her as they may be more objective.  I know how serious they are and I don't think the age is an issue for them but would the officers involved in the process of obtaining a K1 visa have the same opinion as I do?

K1 is a poor choice as it is quite a bit more expensive than the spouse visa

and for a muslim man who is suppose to support the wife even a poorer choice as the man can not work till he completes AOS in US and has EAD /or actual green card.

10 year difference/ 10 days only in person/    woman can not have children/  Muslim man never married so i assume has none of his own and is expected to have them

YES   all those are and can be issues.    Will they be denied K1 ?  No one here can  know or say for certain.   My K1 with age difference was denied

20 K1's for Jordan were approved in April (last report posted)

If denied and they do deny many, she can go and marry and try for CR1 but that wastes about 2 years.

AGAIN  please have her join VJ

we will not,  (especially me) judge her for the 10 year age difference but there are things she,  herself ,  needs to know about the cost of K1 and AOS and benefits of spouse visa.

The K1 has the expensive adjustment of status process that comes with it and he won’t be able to work for a while, so it’s not an ideal choice. Why do you think they should do the K1?

Before they start anything, they should at least have some more (at least 1 more) visits in I think

Expensive?.. yes it is... (I'm in that process now) but not being able to work for a while... it all depends... I know a few people did the K1.. and are working within 3 months..

The extra cost of the journey is not a problem for them.  They are aware of the extra cost and are ok with it.

They are ok with paying the extra cost.  That is not an issue for them.  They are just wondering about the age gap.  Just to be clear, age gap is not an issue for them but they wonder if it would be an enough issue for the officer to deny a K1 visa.

theres no definite way of knowing.

it is almost entirely up to the officer doing the visa interview if they believe the relationship is bonafide

no one can say for sure that it will cause an issue, but chances are the relationship may be more scrutinized by the interviewing officer.

Honestly, they should be visiting more to determine how THEY feel about the age gap.  Talking online and over the phone versus navigating things together, in person, are different kettle of fish.  They also need to create a stronger body of evidence to support their relationship.

Personally, I think K1 when dealing with MENA countries is often risky.

i wish them well but please have her sign up for VJ.  there''s a lot to know and u seem to concentrate on 1 issue only

does this Muslim man know he can't work for an extended time to AOS

Seconded, it's questions like this that are vital to giving the best advice, and a friend of the USC is not going to have the answers.  She really needs to be here.  No judgements.

If the relations is legitimate and can clearly prove it to the USCIS and the Embassy, the age difference does not matter!  My spouse is 40 years younger than me and we had no issues getting the K1 approved and for reasons that are not important, also the CR1 approved.

Gender matters.

Beware comparing cases which seem to be similar..... Age difference (older female) combined with little time together and cultural norms can be red flags in some countries.

For us the limbo of the adjustment of status process turned out to be more of an issue than the cost. Just a personal data point from someone who feels that the CR-1/IR-1 is the far superior option in most cases.
