Stamped approved copy of I-129f

My fiancé went to her Bangkok embassy interview and was told she needed a stamp approved I-129f form despite having an I-797 form. How do I get this?

Did you make a copy of the form before you submitted it to USCIS?

Yes but it does me no good without the top portion of it filled out by the USCIS with the approved stamp. See attached. She showed them her I-797 but they want this portion and I never got it.

@SalishSeai filled out mine as pdf then printed and signed it, i didn't make a scanned copy of i129f before submitting it. if i don't remember the exact date how big of a problem is that? i am so worried now

I think the crisis is averted. I found it attached to an email from March 20th from the USCIS.

 

They will send you the approved form when it is approved and instructions for the next step in getting embassy interview and medical exam. Be sure to copy that one for sure!

so my case right now is at NVC because i have to yet request for my case to be transferred to any embassy since embassy in my country is closed so you mean i will get an email with approved form once my case is transferred?

Yes, they will send a copy to you, the consulate, and your attorney, if you retained one, through email. They will also send a physical copy in the mail of your I-797 to you and your fiancé.

Hey, how to get the email from USCIS? We just received I-797 on the mail. And we doesnt get the email about I-797 and I-129f from uscis. Also the embassy sent the uncertified duplicate of I-129f to me. How to get the certified duplicate of I129f with stamp on it? Thank you in advance.

That’s so weird how did your fiancé got interview? If USCIS didn’t approved. USCIS send it NVC if approved and then send to U.S. Embassy for interview
