Knowing we will get 221g but interviewing anyway

We have our interview scheduled June 18, 2024. We have everything but a foreign police cetificat requested May 6, 2024. It take 2-3 months to receive it and we were hoping to get it early, but as of today June 13, 2024 we do not have it. We went to reshedule but no appointments are available. How ill-advised is it to attend the June 18 interview without the police certificate knowing it will be a 221g refusal and we might not get the cetificate for annothe 4-6 weeks?

I think (do not quote me on this) I've seen people on here say that they've had to send the embassy a file after the interview that they missed. So I assume it'll be like that!

I wouldn't reschedule but I also wouldn't do a medical exam until closer to when you expect to receive the missing paperwork.

Everything is done including medical the only thing remaining is the police certificate which we will not have on June 18 interview date.

I would just go to the interview and let them know of what happened.  There is nothing you can do at this point because you can't just not show up for the interview.  Tell them that you filed for it as soon as you got their request... I think it would be fine especially if it normally takes 2-3 months for the certificate to generate on a routine basis.
