Query Regarding K1 Visa Missing Document Submission Timeline

Hello everyone,

I recently had my K1 visa interview in Frankfurt on June 3rd. I was given a slip requesting additional documentation, specifically an original police certificate from my country, which I have. However, I am currently waiting for a police certificate from China, where I previously lived. It has been 8 days since my interview, and I was informed that the document from China would be ready by the 13th, likely arriving around the 20th or 21st. I plan to send it to Frankfurt immediately upon receipt.

My question is, how long do I have to provide the documents? This was not mentioned in the email I received from the embassy. Additionally, if you have had a similar experience, how long did it take for your status to change on the portal?

Thank you in advance.
