I thought it was upsetting......and I'm going to second, third, fourth, whatever...the notion that it's the illegal bit that bothers me...

Yeah, add me to the list. Blurring the distinction between illegaland legal immigration seems to be the standard ploy lately, as well as calling anyone who is opposed to illegal immigration "racist". :angry:

Playing the "racist" card regarding illegal immigration appears to be the same over there as it does here in the UK, makes me so mad!!

Damn straight. Seems that nothing is off limits if it serves to divert attention from the fact that those folks came here, are here, live here, drive here and work here against the law. Nothing I can take seriously. :no:

I didn't see any hatred of immigrants in this thread. What I did see, however, was making fun of Bush's attempt to get a handle on illegal immigration.
