Hello! I was born in Canada.  My grandmother is a green card holder in america and filed for my mother's petition back in 2014-2015 (unmarried adult) which put my mom in the F2B category. She filed my application alongside hers, as i was underage. (applicant of a child under 21) who will be immigrating with main applicant. That being said, when we applied I was under the age of 21. Now, 9 years later we finally have our interview. I am 26 years old and was wondering if I will be aged out at the interview or if they will use the CPSA age. (i've figured out my cspa age before and it said i was ok but i'm not sure if the montreal embassy even cares) I'm writing this fast because I'm very nervous but also excited. If you have any info that could help that would be great.

Absolutely, CSPA matters.   It's a matter of law.  If you are under 21 according to calculations, you qualify as a derivative.

Let's rewind.

1) date of filing of application (i130)

2) date of approval of i130

3) What month and year did you turn 21?

date of filing was 10 nov 2015

approval of i130 was 22 november 2020

turned 21 dec 2018
