Green Card (Montreal) - Scheduling of Interview Delay Time

Hi,

Looking for people experiencing this right now.

What is the delay (for 2024) between having all your documents "approved" by the NVC and receiving the email to inform you of your interview date.

I've been waiting for a few months now... curious to know when I should be expecting that email to come (from the Montreal Consulate)

Thanks

I attempted to search for it. I figured there was - I tried to use a search feature but nothing came up and I didn't see "Green Card" in the "US Immigration from Canada" forum. I wasn't sure the title of the thread...  I realize now it is called "CR1" when I have been searching just "Green Card"... ugh, sorry.

What is a "DQ date" and "Country of changeability"?

My Priority date is 19-Aug-2022. However, I had to get criminal record checks from Mexico and China which which took me over a year to complete... so I didn't get my documents approved until March 2024.

My spouse is the sponsor - it isn't an employer, etc.
