Hi all,

Peter and I were very active here about two years ago when we went through the Visa process and found this site so helpful.

We are in the process on removing conditions, and have the form filled out, all the evidence we need.

We have just this past week moved into a house we bought together, so that is part of our proof of marriage.

We filled the form out with our new address and as instructed, have our old address listed on a separate sheet of paper.

Do we need to fill out any other forms letting them know our address has changed, or is this ok?

Thank You!

Shannon

I am also in a similar situation, but a little different.

Since I became conditional resident almost 2 yrs ago, we have moved 3 times in 2 different States, due to job necessity and financial reason.

In all the diffent addresses, I filled the change of address form AR 11, (though not within the 10day period as written.) but my partner did not file any form, we are both working > 40hours/week so no one sponsors the other.

Given the above situation --> filling more than the 10 days allowed for AR 11

--> my partner never filled I 865

will that be a problem for our application?

we changed address for job necessity and financial reasons, will that explanation be enough for the USCIS?

Another questions I have.

what is the meaning of --> 40 quarters of work;

Thank you very much

i would file the sponsors notice... yes, you are both working but your partner is still technically your sponsor...

also they don't really care why you moved, people move all the time... they just want to know where you moved to....

why then on the I 751 the ask:

Have you resided at any other address since you became a permanent resident? (If yes, attach a list of all

addresses and dates.)

If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, provide a detailed explanation on a separate sheet(s) of paper and refer to "What Initial Evidence Is Required?" to determine

do we need to give any explanation as to why the change of address?

that is only for the questions that would require a detailed explanation.... like it says you do need to provide a list of all the previous addresses.... I did that and I didn't include an explanation....

5. Are you in removal, deportation or rescission proceedings?

6. Was a fee paid to anyone other than an attorney in connection with this petition?

7. Have you ever been arrested, detained, charged, indicted, fined or imprisoned for breaking or violating any

law or ordianance (excluding traffic regulations), or committed any crime which you were not arrested in

the United States or abroad?

8. If you are married, is this a different marriage than the one through which conditional residence status was

obtained?

9. Have you resided at any other address since you became a permanent resident? (If yes, attach a list of all

addresses and dates.)

10. Is your spouse currently serving with or employed by the U.S. government and serving outside the United States?

You only need to include the prior addresses, no explanation necessary. We also moved three times during the 2 year conditional residence period. I filed AR-11, but husband did not know that he needs to file I-865. We did not have any problem in I-751 processing. While I am not saying every body should ignore the requirements of filing I-865, but just want to give you an example that we worried a lot about this too, but we survived.

Good luck!
