Form I-864 (for IR-5, Parents) - Notarized Original?

I've read on some places that the I-864 we provide our parents (an original signed hard-copy for their eventual interview) has to be notarized. Is that true? Any recent interviews to validate that?

Thanks! And then for the I-864 version -- I petitioned both parents, but that was 2 seperately filed I-130's (so only one "immigrant" "listed on each)....my salary alone is sufficient to be sole sponsor for both. Can i file the I-864 for both I-130's once at the CEAC stage? My tax transcripts tho are filed jointly with spouse but the W2's I can submit would prove the capability to support both solely...

both need an I 864 with DS 260 and the fees

 

do not confuse a personal written affadivit one would write and get their signature notarized with the affadivit of support (i 864)
