Inquiry Regarding Follow-to-Join Interview Scheduling

I am writing to inquire about the interview scheduling timeline for my children, who are following-to-join beneficiaries on my immigrant visa petition.
My mother submitted a petition on my behalf (primary applicant), and I completed the DS-260 form in 2015. By 2016, I had arrived in the US. In the DS-260 form, I designated my children as follow-to-join beneficiaries. However, I finalized the IV application (DS-260 forms) for my two children two years ago, in 2022. Even before 2022, I have been actively monitoring the status of their visa application on https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV. The status message reads, "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview."

My primary concern is understanding the timeframe for when the interview might be scheduled because when I emailed the embassy, they claimed they are scheduling cases in the order in which they receive them. I think this case should have received attention as the visa has been ready for more than 9 years but no visa appointment yet.
