February 2024 filer; USCIS seems to have skipped over our batch

I-129F NOA1 dated February 28th, 2024; Somewhat disheartening that April filers are getting approvals, but there haven't been any indications of progress on our end.

***removed due to spam*** seems to indicate hardly any cases from the two weeks or so spanning our NOA1 date have been processed, even though the majority of cases before and after have been approved, and casestatusext.com says that relatively few cases from our batch (WAC-249-005) are being processed now.

I imagine that they do this because of some internal metrics for time to case approval that they're trying to reach, and processing more recently filed cases will improve their median time to case approval.

I suppose there's nothing that can be done other than to keep waiting and hope they eventually pick ours up from the pile, and I just wanted to vent my frustrations, but I suppose it would be nice if anyone had any useful experiences to share.

Obviously many people have waited much longer, but it seems we've gotten at least somewhat unlucky...

I also filed on the same day as you . My hopes were high because before the holidays It was moving fast and I got to the front of the line . Next thing you know , A STAND STILL , showing the same results you have . It’s discouraging because you see people filing after us getting approved. I understand the feeling , our time will come soon .

I gotta say, I received a letter today!!! They had my email, they have my cell number, but the notice came today, approved May 30th, on to the NVC. 😊😊.

I never heard any other peep out of them, that’s ok, as long as things move along. Now I’ll start to study the next steps. I have a feeling things ‘should’ move a little faster now, hopefully.

Same filing date as you (Feb 28). They process less of February and only few for January. I’ve heard that they’re now processing May filers now ☹️☹️☹️

As someone at the NVC stage seeing people pass us, I will warn you, the next stage isn't necessarily as cut and dry.  And there's no website like TMVN to even track your place.

Nevertheless, stay positive and I wish you the best of luck in the next stage!

in the exact same frustrating spot. filed a day after you (Feb 29th), case received a day later, and got our NOA1 about a week after. then absolutely nothing. we were expecting and ready for the wait, but then seeing people who filed after us get approved before us has been incredibly disheartening. like literally, what possible reason could there be to skip such a large batch of filers? they take our money then sit on their hands. sad.

They've been approving April and May for the last week now. I filed March 4th and they haven't touched the majority of the last week of Feb and the first 6 days of March according to trackmyvisanow. I just hoped for approval before my fiance and I's anniversary that was fri 14th June and nothing. Hopefully they go back and approve the ones they skipped because seems unfair to be approving May and June cases whilst so many have been left from Jan, Feb and March. Fingers crossed for us all! :)
