Anyone here who has had an experience with their case taking long at NVC, if so how long did it take? I am June 2023 filler I was approved at the end of march.
I got my case number on 11 April.

The status is “At Nvc ”, i have also done several inquiries and i keep getting the same response. I see people getting approved, their case get sent to nvc and with 2weeks they are sent over to the embassy, so why is mine taking this long 😒😒

If you have had the same experience please share.

Then, you just have to be patient.  It is normal.  Consulates normally have to request K-1 cases when they have availability.

This is the response i get ,

The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition from U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services.  Your NVC case number is ————. Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission.

All case parties will be notified when this petition is forwarded to the assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General.

For the most up to date information about the U.S. Embassy or Consulates current operating status, please visit their website at https://usembassy.gov.

But my worry is why do other cases that have just been sent to NVC get transferred faster while mine remains there? For instance I know a January 2024 filler from my embassy who already have an interview date, their case was sent in less than 2weeks

The response you pasted sounds like you are making a general enquiry. You should try calling the NVC to make a case-specific enquiry.

NVC does not receive phone calls.

it entirely depends on the embassy/consulate your case is going to.

for some embassies in certain countries, the wait for the case to get sent there is longer.

are these people going through the same embassy? if not then whatever embassy they are going through probably processes K-1 visas more quickly.

most embassies/consulates have to send a request to the NVC to have petitions sent to them, and whatever embassy you are going through probably takes longer to send that request to the NVC.

having the case number at the very least is a good thing. it means the NVC has processed your case.

you could try contacting the embassy your petition is going through to find out why it's not there yet. but unfortunately you have to wait for the embassy at this point

Yes, they are going to my embassy, we have a chat group where we update each other and alot of people are getting their case sent over just 2weeks after being sent to nvc.
