Yes I filed 2 years ago with a waiver my spouse passed in 2021 so I filed once I received death certs, letter of testimentary etc and still nothing.   I have been here 5 years now and remarried 10 months ago.   It is a long slow process for sure

Wow I am surprised that it takes that long for so many people. We filed I-751 on 08-16-2023 and got the approval 03-27-2024, so just over 7 months.

(Interestingly without interview, the approval letter just showed up in the mail and the 10 year GC a few weeks later)

Consider yourself lucky 🙂

Occasionally USCIS adjudicates cases the way they should do it for everybody.

 

Now thinking about I-751s, many take 2-3 years. But it's nothing in comparison to some asylum cases stuck since 2015

Just contacted my congressman and seeing if that helps since it's been almost 3 years. Has anyone gone that route and been successful in getting things moving?
