But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

What if I get the celery glazed? Plus sprinkles?

Now you're starting to sound like John McCain.

Just remember folks, if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

Of course, we respect the service that Sister Julez has given to this thread. But, my friends, remember that this thread wasn't built on promises of doughnuts alone. It was the hard-working posters - people just like you and me - who made this thread what it is. My friends, this thread isn't about doughnuts, despite what Sister Julez would have you believe. And the American people know that. They are sick of hearing empty promises from celebrity posters. They aren't bitter, clinging to Krispy Kremes and Starbucks. They are just trying to put celery on their family's table. I don't know - maybe celery is too plain for some of our elitist posters. Maybe they'd prefer it if it was smeared with soft cheese and came with some fancy French name (he-he, smirk). Well, I say, let the American people decide. Because, my friends, celery does grow on trees (Speechwriter's note: someone check this). It's harvested by hard-working, American farmers (cue video of hard-working farmers. No brown people, unless verified first) from dirt that was brought over by our fore-fathers (cue paintings of Pilgrims emptying dirt from Mayflower). It was celery that led the revolution against our oppressors (cue paintings of Bostonians throwing celery into the harbour). It was celery that defeated the Nazis in 1945 (Speechwriter's note: Photoshop something for this). And, my friends, it is celery that will lead to change in this country. Thank you, and God bless this thread.
