But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

See... Marylin tempted me over here with pictures of donuts. It was a looooong and trecherous journey. I feel let down. Slightly conned actually!

Don't worry, I've consulted with an attorney. Seems that the advertisement shoud have said "free virtual donuts" but since is just said 'free donuts", they are screwed. We totally won this case.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

LITTLE BAGHDAD, IDAHO: Scholars have released a translation of a new gospel discovered in Quorum, Israel in 1957. The Gospel according to Malcolm, a previously unknown disciple of Jesus, has stirred up a controversy amongst biblical scholars and Christians worldwide. Subtitled "Jesus preaches to the 5,000 about Personal Responsibility", the 47 verses offer a different interpretation to a well-known biblical passage:

'And the 5,000 who had come to hear the word of the Lord said unto Him, "Messiah, we are hungry, for we did not bring food with us." And the Lord said, "Well, that's really not my problem, is it? For you came here willingly and on your own volition. I mean, to be blunt, you really need to learn some personal repsonsibility."

'And the crowd replied, "Couldn't you help us, in your compassion?" And the Lord looked down upon them and said, "How exactly would that be helping you? You want something for nothing, is that it? Really, you only have yourselves to blame. You didn't consider the consequences, did you?"

'And the crowd were perplexed and asked Him, "Weren't you the one who told us to consider the lilies? That they don't toil..?" And the Lord did cut them off and said, "Apples and oranges", for which the crowd did hunger for and which made them more confused.

'And the Lord said, "As I look around, I see that some of you are already - let's not put too fine a point on it - fat and I'm wondering exactly how hungry you really are." And the crowd did disperse, muttering under their breaths, and the Lord did say, "Oi! I heard that!" for indeed He was blessed with remarkably good hearing.'

Presidential candidate Fred Thompson has praised the new translation, saying, "That's my Lord." Thompson is currently funding research into the existing gospels, stating that Jesus' message of "Blessed are the peacemakers" is, he believes, an early endorsement of concealed carry laws.
